Passports

 All the travellers are required to present a passport valid for at least 6 months after the day of arrival in Poland. To obtain a visa, passport needs to be valid for at least 9 months after the application day. Always contact the closest Polish Embassy or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (www.mfa.gov.pl) to obtain all the necessary and the most recent information.

Visas

Required by all except:

Holders of the passports of the European Union, Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Korea, Liechtenstein, Macao, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Romania, San Marino, Singapore, Switzerland, Uruguay, USA, Vatican City and Venezuela for stays of less than 90 days.

Customs

 Export of all the items of artistic, historical or cultural value is subject to special rules and regulations. Export of historic items is strictly forbidden by law. Individual permits can be obtained from the Ministry of Culture and Art. All the items originating before 1945 require such a permit.

The following amounts are allowed without declaring:

200 cigarettes or an equivalent of 100 cigars (with the weight less than 3 grams each) or 250 grams of tobacco and 1 litre of alcohol or 2 litres of wine.
